I'm glad your dropped in. I can't say that you will find what you are looking for here. What you will find is some things that interest me. Some test of web design. Some views into my life. By that I mean my mind as well as physical environment I live in. This is just my way of testing things out. I find screwing around on the web to be something satisfying with out calories, although I could use the calories. We are now on the third incarnation of a website. We did enjoy being a GooglePage but Google doesn't really want us. So I am happy to say that our new home on 110MB is pretty much a done deal. We have new tools to work with, PHP,SQL and Perl are available here. So we will have to see what we can do with them. We have brought everything over or at least I think we have.

Pictures

The pictures section of the web site includes pictures I have taken, pictures I have found that are interesting, well at least they are interesting to me. The picture are not a family album with the exception of a couple so you know something about me and how my mind sees things. I have included other pictures available on the web. I make every effort not to put copyrighted material but with email who knows where things com from. If you see a picture that is copyrighted or belongs to you please contact the Webmaster to have it removed. If you have a picture that you think I might like you can email it to me. If I like it I may post it. You can expect to see some changes to this section in the near future, like the NEW Bars on Bell Map.

Video Cam Stuff

Ever since I was involved putting a new warehouse in Cincinatti and then working on a security cam installation at a rental car company I have been fascinated with video cams. I was involved with a web chat site as it was starting up and installed a cam on a computer and left it up and running so people could see and that at least one camera was working at the site. The developer of the site also had a cam up showing a running clock proving that it was a live feed. Mine was just in my house. After a while I pretty much forgot that it was running. Fortunately, I have some morals so nothing immoral was show on the cam no one underage doing things that they should not be doing. I can't say nothing illegal but there are so damn many laws it is had to say what is legal and what is not. I was doing a lot of traveling and when I stayed in hotels I would also have the cam up and running in my hotel room while I was at work. I often wondered what the maids did while I was away. As time went by I added cams to the system ended up dedicating a computer to the project. I didn't spend a ton of money on it and I guess that shows but I do have fun with playing around with them. I spent days on the phone with Logitech Tech support on getting their cams to work right. Even though they were not very enthused until I ran across someone that realized I had a challenging problem as I had managed to get two of their USB cameras to function at the same time as a Creative Labs camera. I have pretty much given up on USB cams but there is still one working on the system. Yes it is one of the Logitechs from that old system.

In this section I am also including any live camera feeds that I find interesting.

Words

My words, other peoples words. I learned to read when I was 3. I started with the St. Paul Pioneer Press probably not the best thing for a 3 year old to learn to read from but thats what I got. Reading comforts me, so I read a lot. I still get the daily paper delivered. I read stories online, I go to used bookstores. I occasionally even make it to the library, although I think they have a new card I need to get if I want to check out a book. My sisters keep sending me odd things, like the "Red Neck Definition" so if it tickles my fancy I will post it. I also like to write things so you can see what I have to say as well as what other people have to say. The blog "Ramblings" include my thoughts as well as others that wish to post to my domain. The "Slave Journal" is written by a real person and posted with permission. I rewrote one her entries from the Master's point of view one time. Other things listed in the "Words" section include books I have read or am reading any Guestbook entries. Stuff that interests me like the "Non Bill of Rights" I hope to add a story or two.

Going Green(NEW)

NEW My take on going green. I think green, but am not green. I do little things that I hope help. I have drip watering system for my yard. I recycle, for what good that does, I use CFL bulbs, but worry about what to do with them when they die. My solar project is a boondoggle, but it is my boondoggle and helps me learn and maybe save a few bucks. We are also buidling a bicycle.
